On December 2, 2006, several of our Humane Society members participated in three Christmas parades in Anderson County: the Oak Ridge Christmas Parade at 10 a.m., the Lake City Christmas Parade at 1 p.m., and the Clinton Christmas Parade at 6 p.m.. The weather was beautiful, and we saw lots of friends and supporters. We would like to give a big Thank You to the Clinton Fire Department for letting us borrow the Sparky the Fire Dog costume. Sparky was quite popular with the kids along the parade route.
Here are a few photos of us from the Oak Ridge Christmas Parade. For more photos of the parade, refer to these photos from The Oak Ridger.

Our Vice President, Kristin Olsen, with her dogs Autumn, Asia, and Rex. We would like to thank Kristin's husband, Jimmy Olsen, who drove the truck pulling the trailer with the sleigh.

Susan Blackford, our Treasurer, with her daughter, Katie, and husband, Patrick Geoffray, wearing the Sparky costume. Susan's dogs Tintin and Sam also joined in the parade.
